Magic Mushroom Grow Kit Instructions:

Mycelium Growth: Inside this bag is a blend of substrate fully colonized with Psilocybe cubensis mycelium. Simply place it on a shelf or kitchen counter with INDIRECT ambient light. Within a week or two, mushrooms will naturally start to grow without much intervention.

Pinning Stage: When you spot baby mushrooms (pins), your harvest is near! Once these baby mushrooms reach a height of about 0.5 to 1 inch, make a horizontal slice (2-2.5 inches wide) just above the filter patch. This allows oxygen in and triggers rapid fruiting.

Maintain Humidity: Use a spray bottle to mist the inside of your plastic terrarium once or twice a day. Spraying creates a moist environment for fruiting.

Monitor Veil: Harvesting at the right time is crucial for a bountiful crop. Harvest when the underside of the cap starts to stretch but hasn’t fully opened into an umbonate shape. Avoid letting the veil break to prevent spores from limiting future flushes.

Harvest: With gloved hands, reach inside the bag through the slit and gently twist the mushroom stalk to remove it.

Repeat: Continue to spray inside the bag, and mushrooms will grow for 3 to 8 flushes, depending on proper harvesting and avoiding spore contamination.
